Visit Norway | Norway, naturally – Commercial film for the B2B segment

Assignment:

Every year, the Norwegian travel industry meets thousands of potential customers at trade fairs, workshops and one-to-one meetings, and the competition for attention is fierce. In this context, Visit Norway needed to create a film that in a concise and visual way could showcase what Norway has to offer at the new autumn trade fairs.

Solution:

The majority of those who create communication for the B2B segment forget that they are speaking to human beings and focus solely on the rational and the business case. The fact is that people are people, and by appealing to emotions, dreams and thoughts we are more successful and more memorable. Visit Norway has previously had great success using an image of a naked man in a waterfall, and in doing so has managed to stand out among the generic country presentations for an audience that is 80% women. With this solution, we wanted to bring the man to life and let him showcase what Norway has to offer by using creative transitions that make it possible to jump between different destinations and activities across three different regions, without it feeling chaotic. This allows a great deal to be shown in a short time, while maintaining the viewer's curiosity.
