Had just gone on holiday when the American company Lyrical Lemonade called with an offer that was impossible to refuse.

When Australian rapper The Kid Laroi was performing at the Stavern Festival, he also made a stop in Larvik and Skien to shoot the music video "Burning Up" with Florida star Nardo Wick. Joining the team were producer duo Sigurd Fossen and Christer Dyngeland from Sølvrev. Behind the production was the American company Lyrical Lemonade, led by star director Cole Bennett, who had noticed the production company.

Nine days before the shoot

The holiday had barely begun for Fossen and Dyngeland when the phone rang with an offer they could not refuse. Behind it was Cole Bennett, a long-established music video director for some of the world's biggest stars including Justin Bieber, Post Malone and Eminem. But time was tight – the duo had nine days to sort everything out.

Norwegian nature

The film features fast bikes and boats, but above all magnificent Norwegian nature. This was the very reason Norway was chosen. The Sølvrev team initially considered Lofoten, but to make the logistics work, the Americans wanted a location closer to Stavern.

With the music video safely delivered, there was also time for some well-earned holiday days for the team.
