A total of 15 videos were produced in just two shooting days for the world-famous artist

In connection with the launch of the deluxe version of her latest album How to Let Go – in which Sigrid shares acoustic versions of the album's tracks – the artist wanted a set of short visualisers to enhance the visual expression of the songs. In total, 15 videos were filmed over two days, with Oslo city as the backdrop for most of them.

The team behind them is the director and producer duo Sigurd Fossen and Christer Dyngeland, who previously also created the music video Plot Twist for the artist.

Floating over Oslo.

  • "In contrast to the pop star life Sigrid lives on tour, we wanted to show a more authentic and everyday side of Sigrid – life back home here in Norway. But to elevate it slightly beyond the purely documentary, there is also something abstract about it, including one film where Sigrid floats above Oslo," says producer Dyngeland.

Despite having barely two days to shoot all the films, the production company managed to wrap the shoot half an hour ahead of schedule – something the duo credits to the crew.

  • "We felt each video deserved its own visual concept, which gave us an interesting challenge when we also needed to produce 7–8 films from each production day. Thanks to an enormously skilled crew, including Ben Lucas as production manager and Marius Aaserud as cinematographer, we were always able to move at a fast pace, which meant we got exactly what we needed for each film," director Fossen concludes.
