Sølvrev and SEEN produce a recruitment film for the year's most important community effort.
The NRK TV Telethon has been held every autumn since 1974 and is considered the world's largest community fundraiser. Every year, 7,000 dedicated volunteers across the country organise the event in their municipality, with the goal of having 100,000 collection box carriers visit every household in Norway within two hours on one Sunday in October.
Together with SEEN, who produce data-driven videos, Sølvrev this year took part in creating a recruitment video sent to all previous volunteers – with a heartfelt thank you for their efforts and an encouragement to recruit friends and acquaintances to this year's effort. The film was also distributed to all volunteer centres across the country.
Many familiar faces.
Several well-known faces also took part in the effort, including Solveig Kloppen, Else Kåss Furuseth, Leo Ajkic and Henriette Steenstrup. "We are incredibly grateful to have been part of making this film, and we especially want to thank all the volunteers who gave their time in the middle of the summer holidays. Both the celebrities who did this pro bono and the TV Telethon volunteers – Kloppen, Furuseth, Ajkic and Steenstrup were all very patient with us and did a fantastic job in taking this video to new heights," says director and producer Christer Dyngeland.

The film, which uses SEEN's data-driven technology, makes it possible to speak directly to the recipient through personalisations – here, Else says the recipient's name at the start, which is also written on her swimsuit and in the flour Steenstrup uses while baking. These touches help to highlight and celebrate each individual recipient, and together the film is a celebration of volunteering across the country.
