Behind the production are director and producer duo Sigurd Fossen and Christer Dyngeland.
At this year's Spellemann Awards, Aurora and Sølvrev – led by director Sigurd Fossen – have been nominated for Music Video of the Year for the track A Temporary High. Also nominated in the category are strong contenders such as Karpe, Ramón and SALTI.

The video, first released in early 2022, was intended to reflect on the very concept of time and our relationship to it. We wanted to create a cult-like aesthetic to highlight how people are often slaves to either the past or the future, robbing themselves of the beauty of the present. We live in a world where every second counts, yet the fear of missing out and the constant focus on short-term gratification prevents us from having a balanced and healthy relationship with time itself. When we seek joy and happiness, we escape reality and chase only the temporary highs, says the director about the project.

The visuals are inspired by the 1980s, with scanimate as a key reference for the graphics. Each scene was designed to feature a single colour and be as visually striking as possible.

Congratulations to Sigurd Fossen and producer Christer Dyngeland on the nomination.
