Sølvrev rounds up some of the highlights from last year.
2024 was yet another productive year for the foxes in Oslo and Bergen, with commissions for well-known artists such as Dagny, Peder Elias and Hillari, as well as major brands including Söderberg & Partners, ARK and Apotek 1.
"Throughout the year we have had many exciting commissions both on the east and west coast. A special thank you to the agencies that placed their trust in us last year, including Geelmuyden Kiese, Mvh, and Los & Co. Not least to Trigger, where we continued our great collaboration with Sparebanken Vest and Girls Want More, in addition to creating 'The world's first noise forecast' for Havila, which received international attention in AdAge," says acting CEO William Glandberger.
The year also brought several opportunities in the home city of Bergen, where the production company got to make films for the 100-year-old Fløirestauranten and Bergen Chamber of Commerce – with archival footage that goes straight to the heart.
"As Bergensians we know what moves us, and it has been incredibly rewarding to work with these institutions that have meant so much to both the business community and people of the city. We could also celebrate winning our largest tender to date, securing an ongoing partnership with BKK, which is something of a landmark institution on the west coast," Glandberger continues.
Paternity leave and new hires.
Aside from delivering films to both new and returning clients in quick succession, the team also managed a company trip to Amsterdam, gained a new (temporary) CEO, and hired two new colleagues.
"When Daniel Eikeland went on paternity leave in November, I took over the helm. It has been both fun and challenging, and at times hectic! I have juggled productions and tasks I know well with new responsibilities I had no prior experience of. Among other things, I have had to learn the art of politely and efficiently turning down cold callers!"
"We have also hired two talented new colleagues in Tiril Falklev and Tobias Sjåfjell. Tiril was first with us as an intern but has now secured a permanent position. She is excellent at planning, coordination and casting, and is a great asset both in the office and on set, quickly finding good solutions to most things. Tobias is the latest addition to the fox den and has already made his mark on several productions. He has a great eye and a talent for still photography, which will be very useful on set – both for us and our clients. It helps too that both Tiril and Tobias are genuinely lovely people who fit in well and contribute a lot to the team, so we are very happy to have them on board," Glandberger concludes.

In addition to two new hires at the Bergen office, Sølvrev also welcomed Minoo Sinding-Larsen Bash as an intern at the Oslo office. She is studying for a Bachelor's degree in project management for the arts and creative industries at Kristiania University College and has been with the foxes for two months.
"We do not often take on interns, but in Minoo's case we were quickly convinced. It is great to give people opportunities, and in this case she was truly thrown in at the deep end and handled complex coordination tasks brilliantly," says producer Christer Dyngeland. "Minoo was clear about what she wanted to get out of the placement and had the experience to back it up. That made it exciting for us to give her the opportunity, and we wish her all the best with her continued studies."
Ready to step out into the world
With a strong foothold locally and nationally, Sølvrev has built up a loyal following. So what is the foxes' next move? In 2024, Sigurd Fossen and Christer Dyngeland were in England, where they spent a full day filming international star Livingston in Ed Sheeran's studio – and with several commissions now beyond Norwegian borders, Sølvrev is looking ahead and ready to take international steps.
