Together with Sølvrev and the band Den 12. Mann, Bergen Fiber painted the town red during the shooting of a new music video.

In recent years, Sølvrev has produced a number of projects for Bergen Fiber, with a particular focus on their sponsorship of football club Sportsklubben Brann. This time they approached the production company with a wish to create a video celebrating Bergen, the Brann football team and the people of Bergen.

"Bergen Fiber already had the idea of making some kind of music video, so it felt natural for us to build on that. The idea was to centre the video around a concert at Brann Stadion, where we tried to gather as many supporters as possible. A rather rainy Thursday affected turnout a little, but those who showed up were 100% committed and did a wonderful job! Another key element was driving around to a handful of neighbourhoods to film iconic local spots and the people who live there – to make sure Bergen itself was truly part of the video," says producer and director William Glandberger.Bergen i videoen», sier produsent og regissør William Glandberger om produksjonen.

Iconic Bergen band

Having the iconic Bergen band Den 12. Mann perform at the concert was not a given – the band had not played together for years. "They liked the idea and jumped at the chance to make it happen. And they absolutely delivered. We had smoke and pyrotechnics on set, but the biggest fireworks were definitely the Den 12. Mann crew themselves!" Glandberger continues.

"We had a plan to work from, but beyond that it was a day driven by creative, spontaneous solutions to get all the shots we needed. I think we ended up with a lot of iconic images – including tattooist Stein on Møhlenpris and football boots in the changing room at Nordnes! And the band delivered so much gold. Who else turns up at the stadium in an outfit like that?" says the director.

NRK was present at the shoot

During the planning of the music video, the production company reached out widely through various neighbourhood groups on Facebook to recruit participants. This caught the attention of NRK Vestlandsrevyen, who showed up at the stadium to interview both vocalist Ossie Nordgreen and Gro Frammarsvik from Bergen Fiber live.

"This was an incredibly fun evening, and I was very impressed – and above all proud – to see everyone involved in action. The professional Sølvrev crew, with their calm authority and ever-present smiles, gave both the band and the audience the confidence and energy to go all out. Having NRK come to film live from the shoot gave us an extra boost. We are enormously excited to share the result with our customers," concludes sales and marketing coordinator at Bergen Fiber, Gro Frammarsvik.

The film premiered at the stadium on 30 May, ahead of the match between Brann and arch-rivals Mjøndalen. The match ended 7-0 to Brann.
